Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has responded promptly to a tragic fire incident in Sitapur district that resulted in three fatalities. The fire, which occurred on April 4 in Saraiyan Chalakapur village, led to the loss of three lives, prompting immediate action from the state government.
Upon being informed of the incident, the Chief Minister instructed officials to expedite relief and rescue operations without delay. The administration quickly provided financial aid of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased, ensuring immediate support through direct bank transfers as per government guidelines.
In line with the Chief Minister’s directives, the district administration has been actively engaged in coordinating relief efforts on the ground and closely monitoring the situation. Efforts are focused on delivering timely assistance and streamlining support for the affected families without procedural delays.
Apart from financial assistance, steps have been initiated for the rehabilitation of the affected families, including the commencement of housing support under the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme. Relevant departments have been tasked to expedite formalities to ensure eligible beneficiaries receive housing support promptly.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, with plans to take necessary preventive measures based on the findings to avert similar incidents in the future.
