Actor Varun Dhawan, gearing up for the release of ‘Border 2’, recently spoke about collaborating with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh in the film. At a special event, Varun revealed that he used to sing Diljit’s songs in front of him, reminiscing about their shared moments of cricket, workouts, and fun. Expressing amusement at his actions, Varun pondered on why he felt the need to serenade his favorite singer.
The much-anticipated ‘Border 2’ is a sequel to the iconic 1997 film ‘Border’, directed by J. P. Dutta, portraying the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 India–Pakistan war. The upcoming war drama aims to capture the essence of its predecessor, with Sunny Deol reprising his role as Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri. Helmed by Anurag Singh, known for ‘Kesari’, the sequel is expected to blend battlefield realism with compelling storytelling, backed by a significant budget and modern production values.
