Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will be heading discussions on enhancing access to justice through technology-based legal services at a National Consultation scheduled for Sunday. The Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, is hosting this event to facilitate discussions, policy dialogues, and engagement with stakeholders. The consultation is part of the Tele-Law initiative under the Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA) Scheme.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal will also be actively involved in the consultation, which is a continuation of the Department’s ongoing initiatives. The event will include the unveiling of the “Voice of Beneficiaries” Booklet 2025–26, showcasing impactful stories of individuals benefiting from Tele-Law services, highlighting the positive impact of digital access to justice.
The consultation will feature a detailed overview of the progress of the DISHA Scheme nationwide, with live interactions involving Tele-Law Panel Lawyers, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), and beneficiaries, demonstrating the practical effects of technology-driven legal assistance. Additionally, there will be a special segment commemorating 150 years of the National Song “Vande Mataram”, performed by local artists, emphasizing its historical and cultural significance.
