Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan encouraged graduating students at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi to prioritize ethical values over shortcuts in their professional journeys. He emphasized that true success goes beyond financial gains. Addressing the 15th Convocation Ceremony of IIM Ranchi as the Chief Guest, he urged students to pursue careers grounded in character, integrity, and purpose.
A total of 558 students were conferred degrees at the ceremony, with seven meritorious students receiving medals and citations. Top performers from the 2024-26 batch in various programs were also honored, including MBA, MBA-BA, MBA-HRM, and Executive MBA (Summer and Winter).
The Vice President highlighted the importance of ethical leadership, trust, and integrity as the foundation of strong institutions. He expressed satisfaction that these values are being instilled at IIM Ranchi. Reflecting on his time as Jharkhand Governor, he commended the institute’s progress and significant achievements in recent years.
Inaugurating the country’s first B-school Virtual Reality Case Repository, developed by the institute, the Vice President lauded it as a significant innovation in management education. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, present at the ceremony, congratulated the students, considering the convocation a pivotal moment in their lives. He commended their hard work, discipline, and perseverance, urging them to contribute to nation-building as responsible citizens.
