Former India captain Virat Kohli, spinner Kuldeep Yadav, and fielding coach T Dilip visited the Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to seek blessings of Lord Shiva. They attended the Bhasma Aarti ceremony during their visit. Kohli was felicitated by the Mahakaleshwar Temple management committee.
Kuldeep Yadav expressed his positive experience, stating that it was a good feeling to have darshan of Lord Mahakaal. He hoped for God’s continued blessings for everyone. Head coach Gautam Gambhir, wicketkeeper batter KL Rahul, and batting coach Sitanshu Kotak also offered prayers at a Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and attended the early morning Bhasma Aarti.
Team India is gearing up for the third and deciding ODI against New Zealand at the Holkar Cricket Stadium after the series was leveled by the visitors. Despite Kohli’s recent top spot in the ICC ODI batting rankings, his performance in the second ODI was modest. However, he made history by becoming India’s highest run-scorer against New Zealand in ODI matches.
