Bollywood actress Wamiqa Gabbi is set to appear alongside Akshay Kumar in the upcoming horror comedy “Bhoot Bangla.” The film is scheduled for release on April 10, and the cast has begun promoting the much-anticipated project. Akshay and Wamiqa kicked off their promotional tour in Nashik, where they were seen twinning in matching outfits of white shirts and blue denim.
“Bhoot Bangla” marks the reunion of director Priyadarshan and Akshay after a gap of 14 years. The duo has previously delivered successful films like “Hera Pheri,” “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,” “Garam Masala,” and “Khatta Meetha.” The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, and Asrani, among others.
Additionally, “Bhoot Bangla” will see Akshay and Tabu sharing the screen after 25 years, following their appearances in “Hera Pheri” and “Tu Chor Main Sipahi.” The film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, with Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor backing the project. The story is penned by Akash A Kaushik, with the screenplay by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, and dialogues by Rohan Shankar.
Wamiqa Gabbi will also feature in “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan.
