The WIAA Women’s Car Rally to Valley 2026 commenced at NSCI, Mumbai, blending festivity with a call for action. More than 200 women, driving themed vehicles promoting causes like women’s empowerment and cancer awareness, embarked on the journey towards Khopoli. Nitin Dossa, Chairman of Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), and JK Tyre officials inaugurated the rally, creating a vibrant atmosphere at NSCI.

Participants arrived in themed attire, their vehicles reflecting chosen causes, while families and supporters cheered them on, creating a festive ambiance. The rally, following a Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) format, emphasizes precision, consistency, and teamwork over speed. Contestants navigate 125 km of hilly roads from Mumbai to Novotel Imagicaa hotel, testing strategic driving skills.

Srinivasu Allaphan, Director-Sales & Marketing at JK Tyre & Industries, highlighted the event’s commitment to promoting women in motorsport. The rally, organized by WIAA, a 107-year-old non-profit organization, has transformed into a platform celebrating women’s resilience and advocating for road safety. This year’s rally reinforces values of womanhood and safety, aligning with global road safety campaigns like #CommitToLife and #BeSafeBeStrong.

JK Tyre’s consistent presence in Indian motorsport underscores its dedication to empowering women in motorsport. The partnership with WIAA Women’s Car Rally to Valley underscores the belief that motorsport can drive impactful change on and off the road.
