In a tragic incident in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, a young man named Bittu Kumar Singh reportedly attacked his cousin sister, Khushboo Kumari, with an axe following a heated argument over a suspected love affair. The altercation led to Khushboo’s untimely death at the scene. Subsequently, Bittu fled and later ended his own life by jumping in front of a train.
The shocking event unfolded in the Sua Kaudiya area under the Sadar police station limits. Family members were left devastated by the double tragedy, with both individuals losing their lives in the unfortunate turn of events. Police investigations are underway, focusing on the circumstances surrounding the deadly dispute and the subsequent suicides.
Authorities discovered Bittu’s body on a nearby railway track, confirming his suicide. The police, responding to alerts from local villagers, recovered the murder weapon and are delving into the case further. Initial reports suggest that the crime stemmed from a dispute related to the alleged love affair, leaving the family and community in profound sorrow.
Both the deceased individuals, Bittu and Khushboo, have been taken to Medinirai Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The police are actively pursuing leads, including analyzing mobile call records and other evidence, to piece together the tragic chain of events.
