Actress Zendaya is set for a busy year in 2026 with several film releases lined up, after which she intends to take a break. Among her upcoming projects are The Drama, the final season of Euphoria, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dune: Part Three, The Odyssey, and potentially Avengers: Doomsday. Zendaya expressed gratitude for the support she has received and mentioned her plans to step away from the spotlight for a while.
In an interview with Fandango, Zendaya shared her hope that the audience does not tire of her work this year, acknowledging and thanking her fans for their backing throughout her career. She humorously mentioned her intention to go into hiding for a brief period after her busy schedule.
The Drama, Zendaya’s next film, is scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 3. Directed and written by Kristoffer Borgli, the movie features Zendaya as Emma Harwood, a bookstore clerk engaged to Robert Pattinson’s character, Charlie Thompson, a British museum director. The plot revolves around the couple’s relationship facing challenges as they uncover unsettling truths about each other days before their wedding.
HBO has announced the premiere date for Euphoria Season 3 as April 12, with Zendaya set to reprise her role as Rue. Additionally, Zendaya will star alongside Tom Holland in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, slated for a theater release on July 17. The duo will also appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, hitting cinemas on July 31.
Dune: Part Three is set to debut on December 18, and if Zendaya continues her involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Avengers: Doomsday is expected to release on the same day.
