As the much-awaited action-drama Jaat gears up for its theatrical release on April 10, 2025, the makers have unveiled a powerful musical tribute that beautifully blends devotion with cinematic grandeur. Titled ‘Oh Rama Shri Rama’, the song was launched amidst divine fervour on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami at Varanasi’s iconic Namo Ghat — a setting that matched the spiritual intensity of the track.

A Divine Launch with a Star-Studded Presence

The launch event was nothing short of a celebration. Actors Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Vineet Kumar Singh, along with producer TG Vishwa Prasad, graced the occasion, turning it into a heartfelt moment for both fans and devotees. Varanasi’s ghats echoed with the chants of Ram Naam as the crowd was treated to the emotionally rich composition, creating a rare cinematic moment that connected the screen with the soul.

Speaking at the event, Randeep Hooda aptly remarked, “Ram ji ka gaana Ram Navami pe launch nahin karenge toh kab karenge?” — a statement that perfectly captured the spirit behind the song’s release.

Musical Brilliance Meets Devotion

The composition, produced by the ever-versatile Thaman S, stands out for its majestic soundscape. The song is a harmonious blend of traditional Indian devotional music and modern orchestration, reflecting the reverence and energy associated with Lord Ram.

Vocal powerhouses including Dhanunjay Seepana, Saketh Kommajosyula, Sumanas Kasula, Saatvik G Rao, and Vagdevi Kumara have lent their voices to the track, each adding a unique texture that enhances its devotional essence. The lyrical depth, penned by Adviteeya Vojjala and Sruthi Ranjani, evokes a sense of spiritual grounding while aligning with the emotional beats of the film.

Interestingly, another version of the song also features the soulful vocals of Madhubanti Bagchi and Shahid Mallya, with lyrics by the acclaimed Kumaar, adding a different flavor to the track while retaining its core devotion.

What is Jaat All About?

  • Culturally Rooted Action-Drama: Jaat is a gripping action film that goes beyond the usual punches and power plays. It delves deep into themes of identity, justice, tradition, and legacy, rooted in the cultural heartland of India.
  • Story with Soul and Substance: The narrative follows a fierce journey of resistance and righteousness, likely led by characters who embody both physical strength and emotional depth. While exact plot details are under wraps, the film hints at a heroic struggle grounded in socio-political reality.
  • Blend of Devotion and Power: As seen in the song Oh Rama Shri Rama, the film doesn’t shy away from embracing spiritual elements, adding a devotional undertone to the storyline, which sets it apart from typical action dramas.
  • Strong Visual & Emotional Landscape: Set against the raw, rustic visuals of India’s interiors, Jaat promises not only explosive action but also an emotional connect with the land, its people, and their beliefs.
  • Backed by Powerful Music: The soundtrack, led by music director Thaman S, amplifies the intensity of the film, combining traditional sounds with high-energy compositions.
