Performances

Battula Pawan Kalyan delivers a confident and charismatic performance as Govind. His natural body language, crisp dialogue delivery, and especially his emotional depth in the flashback sequences make him a very likeable lead. He carries the film with ease and proves himself a promising talent in Telugu cinema.

Vennela Kishore, Sapthagiri, and Kasireddy Rajkumar are the absolute scene-stealers of Purushaha. Their impeccable comic timing, natural camaraderie, and pitch-perfect delivery generate some of the film’s biggest laughs. The trio’s on-screen chemistry is infectious and keeps the energy alive throughout.

Rayancha Kokkura shines brilliantly as Kamala, bringing both grace and conviction to her role. She is a major highlight of the film — equally compelling in dramatic and light-hearted moments alike.

Vishika and Hasini Sudheer both do full justice to their characters, adding warmth and charm to the narrative. Rajiv Kanakala and VTV Ganesh bring their signature screen presence and deliver exactly what the film demands of them. Ananth Sriram puts in a strong act and adds depth to his track. Pammi Sai and Mirchi Kiran round out the ensemble with lively, memorable performances that add colour to every scene they appear in.

Technical Craft

Director Veeru Vulavala shows a confident directorial hand, particularly in his visual storytelling and the effective use of graphics to heighten emotional moments. His core idea — blending family emotions with situational comedy — is both fresh and engaging, and his taking keeps several scenes lively and entertaining.

Shravan Bharadwaj’s music is a pleasant companion to the story, offering a decent soundtrack that suits the film’s tone well. Satish Mutyala’s cinematography is a visual treat — the natural locations are captured beautifully, giving the film a rich, warm look. Producer Battula Koteswara Rao has ensured top-notch production values, and the film looks polished and well-mounted on screen.
