Patna, May 22 (IANS) In a major anti-corruption crackdown in Bihar, the Vigilance Investigation Bureau on Friday arrested Akash Kumar Rauniar, the Circle Officer (CO) of the Sasaram Sadar circle in Rohtas district, while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh.His private assistant, Sonu Kumar, was also taken into custody during the operation.According to Vigilance DySP Pawan Kumar, the case pertains to the rectification of records linked to a disputed land plot.“The Circle Officer had…
