Following the successes of Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor, and Bhediya with Varun Dhawan, Thama is a continuation of Maddock’s tradition of blending horror, comedy, and unique storylines, creating what fans affectionately dub the “Desi Horror Universe.
The project was initially known as Vampires of Vijaynagar and has since transformed into Thama, now packed with a promising storyline and an impressive lineup of Bollywood talent. In Thama, Ayushmann Khurrana takes on the role of a vampire—offering a new, thrilling interpretation within the horror-comedy realm. Rashmika Mandanna, playing his love interest, brings an emotional depth to this eerie romance, promising viewers a love story intertwined with hauntingly dark twists.
