- Nature of Agreement:
The position of Volunteer at Indian.Community is entirely voluntary. By accepting this role, you agree to perform all duties on a volunteer basis and will not receive any financial compensation for your contributions. - What You Can Expect as a Volunteer at Indian.Community:
Indian.Community values its volunteers and will provide the following:- A clear description, either written or verbal, of your role and the tasks you are authorized to perform.
- Orientation and access to fundamental training to help you succeed in your volunteer role.
- A safe and supportive environment where you can carry out your duties.
- Respect for your privacy, ensuring that your personal information remains confidential.
- Access to a supervisor who will be available to answer questions and provide feedback.
- Acknowledgement and appreciation certificates
- What Indian.Community Expects From Its Volunteers:
Indian.Community asks all volunteers to:- Support the organization’s mission, goals, and objectives to help achieve them.
- Participate in orientation and training sessions.
- Only perform tasks you are authorized to do and always follow the direction and supervision of designated staff, adhering to reasonable instructions.
- Notify the organization in advance if you wish to change the nature of your contribution.
- Be honest and open in all communications with the organization.

If you have any questions or require assistance with your volunteer role, please contact your assigned supervisor promptly. - Volunteer Expenses:
Indian.Community does not provide reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur while performing your volunteer duties. You agree to bear all financial responsibilities related to your role. - Media Agreement:
- Indian.Community reserves the right to terminate your volunteer position if the following expectations are not met:
- Maintain confidentiality of the organization’s sensitive information.
- Ensure that all activities and reports associated with your volunteer role are credited to Indian.Community in all media presentations, including written articles, television, or film.
- Seek prior approval from Indian.Community’s communications department for any publicity related to this project.
- Provide Indian.Community with copies of any photos taken at events related to the organization.
- Indian.Community reserves the right to terminate your volunteer position if the following expectations are not met:
