Plot Summary

DC follows Devadas (Lokesh Kanagaraj), a hardened gangster who, after ambushing a police convoy, finds himself drawn into helping a grieving widow avenge her husband’s murder at the hands of corrupt cops. This act sets off a gripping cat-and-mouse chase between Das’s gang and the police. Along the way, Das’s life intertwines with two women, bar singer Parvathi (Sanjana Krishnamoorthy) and the fierce Chandra (Wamiqa Gabbi), whose presence transforms his journey from vengeance into redemption. Loosely inspired by the classic tale of Devdas, the film builds a rich emotional world around crime, grief and love.
