Celebrating Lammas – Honoring the Harvest and Transition
As the wheel of the year turns and the warmth of summer envelops us, it is time to celebrate the bountiful festival of *Lammas*, also known as *Lughnasadh*. This ancient Celtic holiday is a time to give gratitude for the first harvest and honor the abundance of the Earth, expressing thanks for the gifts bestowed upon us by nature and within our lives.
Significance of Lammas

• Lammas is traditionally celebrated around the 1st of August in the Northern Hemisphere, marking the midpoint between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox.
• Beyond its agricultural roots, Lammas carries a deeper spiritual significance. It symbolizes a transition, heralding the start of the harvest season and the gradual shift towards autumn as days shorten and growth slows down.
• Ancestors viewed this time as pivotal, marking a period of change and reflection as nature’s cycle shifted gears.

The Ceremonial Experience
During this cacao ceremony, we will honor this transition and contemplate how to best support ourselves during this shift, whether it involves releasing energetic, emotional, or physical burdens. The ceremony will feature:

• Drinking ceremonial cacao
• Oracle card readings
• Guided journey meditation
• Grounding breathwork and journaling
• Concluding with a soothing yoga nidra session

The cacao used in our ceremonies is of the highest quality—raw, organic, and meticulously prepared with love, reiki energy, and intention.
