A 13-year-old boy in Mumbai’s Agripada area was molested by a 40-year-old man, identified as Adil Ishaq Latif, who is currently absconding. The accused allegedly showed the victim pornographic films and physically molested him, threatening dire consequences whenever the boy resisted.

The incident occurred at the Clock Tower residential society in Agripada, where the accused, known to the victim’s family, took advantage of moments when no other family members were present. Upon gathering courage, the victim disclosed the ordeal to his family, leading to a formal complaint being lodged at the Agripada Police Station.

Following the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered under Section 351(2) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita) and the POCSO Act by the Agripada Police Station in Mumbai. A search is ongoing to locate the accused, Adil Ishaq Latif, who remains at large since the registration of the case.
