A shocking incident has come to light in Mumbai’s Mira Bhayandar area, where a 15-year-old girl was abducted, sexually assaulted, and coerced into religious conversion by a local youth named Javed. The girl and Javed, who were neighbors, became friends, but Javed took advantage of this friendship by blackmailing her with explicit photos and videos to accompany him to Madhya Pradesh.
During her six-month captivity in Madhya Pradesh, the minor faced severe abuse. Javed further traumatized her by creating a fake Instagram profile in her name, posting a rate card for her services online, and attempting to force her to convert to Islam and eat beef, adding to her distress after her father’s recent demise.
After managing to escape and return home to Mumbai, the girl disclosed the abuse to her family, who then lodged a complaint at the Valiv police station. Despite the FIR, Javed remains at large, causing fear and anxiety for the victim’s safety as the police have not apprehended him yet. The victim, feeling terrified, is now seeking help by writing to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for urgent intervention in the case.
