A 21-year-old man, Chhatrapati, beheaded two elderly neighbors and injured two others in Singrauli district, Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred due to his belief that his wife’s miscarriage was caused by a magic spell cast by the victims. Chhatrapati used an axe and a sharp weapon during the early morning attacks.

Sangrauli police stated that Chhatrapati suspected Phool Kumari and Kamal Singh of using sorcery against his wife. Conflicting reports suggest that he either attacked them directly or lured them under false pretenses of a ritual. The victims, Phool Kumari and Kamal Singh, were beheaded on the spot, while two others sustained injuries during the chaos.

Chhatrapati, now in police custody, is under investigation to determine the motive and sequence of events leading to the brutal attacks. The police have recovered the weapons used and are questioning witnesses to gather more information about the incident.
