As per a statement by Saima Saeed, Chief Public Relations Officer at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), 38 candidates from the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) at the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning have excelled in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Notably, four candidates secured ranks within the top 50, achieving positions 7, 14, 24, and 29.
The successful candidates from the academy have secured positions in various All India and Central Services, with 15 women candidates among them, showcasing JMI’s commitment to promoting equity and inclusivity.
Samina Bano, in charge of RCA, attributed this success to the students’ hard work and the support provided by the JMI administration. She highlighted the guidance and support of the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar as crucial factors in the candidates’ achievements.
Vice-Chancellor Mazhar Asif and Registrar Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi congratulated the successful candidates, acknowledging the efforts of the faculty and administrative staff in their training. They praised the leadership of Samina Bano for implementing key academic and mentorship initiatives at the academy.
In a statement, Vice-Chancellor Mazhar Asif expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments, emphasizing JMI’s ethos of hard work, perseverance, and determination. He reiterated the university’s commitment to nurturing future leaders for civil services examinations and contributing to India’s administrative machinery.
University Registrar Rizvi hailed the unprecedented success of a significant number of students, particularly women, in the examination. He extended his best wishes to the successful candidates, commending them for realizing their aspirations and serving as inspirations to future aspirants at JMI’s RCA.
