A group of 40 officers completed the 23rd Combined Instrument Rating Instructor and Examiner (CIRIE) Course organized by the Aircrew Examining Board (AEB). The graduation ceremony took place at Air Force Station, Hindan, with participants from various branches including the IAF, Indian Army, Indian Navy, and officers from Kenya, Uganda, and Madagascar.
The course emphasized enhancing tri-service collaboration and highlighted the IAF’s global aviation expertise. It was a six-week program showcasing the IAF’s dedication to aviation excellence. Air Marshal Tejbir Singh, AVSM, VM, Director General (Inspection & Safety), oversaw the valedictory function, recognizing top performers from different aircrew fleets.
The comprehensive CIRIE course spanned four weeks of ground training and two weeks of flying training. It focused on mastering instrument flying evaluation crucial for modern air operations in challenging weather conditions. Additionally, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh observed the Vayushakti-26 Exercise at Pokhran, praising the Indian Air Force’s prowess and commitment to safeguarding the nation’s skies.
