Indian women’s hockey team forward Navneet Kaur expressed her happiness at receiving the prestigious Hockey India Balbir Singh Sr. Award for Player of the Year (Women) at the Hockey India 8th Annual Awards 2025 in New Delhi. Navneet Kaur has been a standout player, notably contributing to India’s success in various tournaments. She played a crucial role in securing a Silver medal at the FIH Hockey Women’s World Cup Qualifiers and was recognized as the Player of the Tournament.

Navneet Kaur continued her impressive performance at the Women’s Asia Cup 2025, where she helped India secure a silver medal by scoring six goals. She also achieved a significant milestone of completing 200 international caps, showcasing her experience and dedication at the highest level of the sport. Throughout the past year, Navneet has consistently delivered in high-pressure situations, solidifying her position as a key player in India’s forward line.
