Actor Milind Soman discussed the changing landscape of the entertainment industry due to the emergence of OTT and digital platforms. At an event by Zydus Pinkathon, he emphasized how experienced actors from the 90s are now finding more opportunities to showcase their talent in films and streaming shows. Soman mentioned that the rise of OTT platforms has allowed older actors to excel in their roles, benefiting from their wealth of experience. He expressed that the industry has evolved significantly with the internet and the abundance of entertainment options available today, creating avenues for actors of all generations to shine. Notably, OTT platforms have revitalized the careers of 90s actors like Bobby Deol, who has seen a resurgence with successful projects such as “Aashram” and “Class of 83.” Akshaye Khanna is another actor who has thrived in the evolving entertainment landscape, receiving acclaim for his performance in the recent film “Dhurandhar.” Milind Soman himself has been actively involved in popular OTT productions, featuring in shows like “Paurashpur” and “Four More Shots Please.”
