Actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, known for his work in Bengali cinema, tragically passed away at the age of 43 after drowning in the sea while filming for the television serial ‘Bhole Baba Par Karega’ at Talsari. During the shoot, he entered the sea and went missing, leading to a search operation by crew members and locals.
After an hour and a half, he was found and taken to Digha State General Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival by the attending doctor. His body is scheduled for a post-mortem examination at Kanthi Subdivisional Hospital to ascertain the cause of death.
His wife, Bengali actor Priyanka Sarkar, has appealed for privacy following the tragic news, expressing the family’s profound grief. In a social media post, she requested understanding and support during this difficult time, emphasizing the need for space to mourn their loss peacefully.
