Actor Sunil Lahri, famous for his role as Lakshman in Ramayan, has backed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent plea to reduce unnecessary expenses in preparation for any future crises. Lahri emphasized understanding the national interest behind the PM’s message and the need to be ready for uncertain times. He questioned critics of the PM’s appeal, likening it to how families cut expenses during home crises.

Lahri clarified that the PM’s message aimed to safeguard national interests and prepare for potential adversities. He stressed the importance of addressing issues proactively rather than reactively. Additionally, Lahri highlighted the significance of decreasing reliance on foreign imports to conserve national resources and reduce unnecessary spending on items like fuel and precious metals.

Encouraging citizens to consider the long-term advantages of financial prudence, Lahri urged everyone to save money and dollars for personal benefits. He emphasized the value of self-sufficiency and prudent financial management. Lahri concluded his message with a call for thoughtful consideration on the matter.
