She expressed that her focus on academics and passion for books led her to turn down the opportunity.
Reflecting on the past, Ameesha Patel shared that although Vinod Khanna had approached her parents for “Himalay Putra,” her academic pursuits overshadowed her interest in films back then. She emphasized her dedication to education and lack of film inclination as the reasons for rejecting the debut film offer. Despite declining the opportunity, fate later brought her to work on two films with Vinod Khanna and his relatives.
