Bhumika Chawla, originally named Rachna Chawla and born in New Delhi, began her acting journey with the 2000 film “Yuvakudu.” She gained popularity with her Bollywood debut in the Salman Khan-starrer “Tere Naam” in 2003, a remake of the Tamil film “Sethu.” The movie, considered a cult classic, revolves around the love story of Radhe Mohan, a college student with a temper, and Nirjara, a shy girl.
In her career, Bhumika has appeared in various successful films such as “Jai Chiranjeeva,” “Sillunu Oru Kaadhal,” “Badri,” “Kushi,” “Okkadu,” “Simhadri,” and “Middle Class Abbayi.” Her most recent appearance was in the 2025 Tamil psychological thriller “School,” directed by R.
