Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently spoke about the challenges she faced in her childhood, where she had to take on significant responsibilities due to her mother’s health issues. In a podcast with Rashami Desai, she revealed how, at just 11 years old, she would care for her mother during schizophrenia attacks, taking her to the hospital and ensuring she took her medications.

Despite her young age, Devoleena had to manage her mother’s health, administering medicines and handling difficult situations independently. She highlighted the tough responsibilities she had to bear at an age when most children are not yet self-reliant. Devoleena expressed admiration for her mother’s strength in raising three children single-handedly after her father’s passing.

Devoleena emphasized her mother’s resilience in managing multiple health conditions and financial responsibilities as a single parent. She credited her mother for instilling in her the importance of financial planning and stability. Devoleena, known for her role in “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya,” praised her mother’s dedication in providing for the family despite facing health challenges.
