Actress Raveena Ravi, known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films like ‘Love Today’ and ‘Maamannan’, recently took to Instagram to request protection from individuals who have been stalking and harassing her, her family, and friends for three years. Posting images of two individuals and their alleged messages, she urged the public to be aware of the situation. Ravi expressed her frustration, stating that despite previous police complaints and warnings, the harassment by a person named Sabarish and his twin brother persists.
The actress revealed that the individuals use derogatory language in messages and comments, not only targeting her but also those close to her. She highlighted the need to address the issue publicly, emphasizing that the harassment extends beyond her to other women in the industry. Ravi urged her followers to block and report the profiles of the alleged stalkers, cautioning against engaging with their messages or comments.
Calling for action from authorities, Ravi expressed hope that Chennai, often considered a safe city for women in India, would take measures against such behavior to ensure the safety of everyone. She tagged various official handles in her post, seeking support in dealing with the ongoing harassment situation.
