Actress Saiee M Manjrekar has chosen a serene way to ring in the New Year by heading back to Matheran, a place she considers her second home. Matheran, a hill station near Mumbai, is renowned for its pleasant weather and well-maintained colonial architecture. The town prohibits motor vehicles, with many visitors arriving via the 1907 Neral–Matheran Toy Train.

Saiee expressed her deep connection to Matheran, stating that it has been a constant presence in her life since childhood. She shared her excitement about returning to this cherished place with a few close friends for the New Year celebration. Saiee described Matheran as a place that has seamlessly integrated into her identity over the years.

Recalling her experiences, Saiee reminisced about horse rides through misty trails, serene forests, and tranquil viewpoints, likening the experience to a form of meditation. She highlighted the simplicity and joy of moments spent enjoying local delights like vada pav, gola, and Maggi, which help her stay grounded and connected to her roots.

Saiee emphasized that celebrating the New Year in Matheran feels like the perfect choice, offering a return to authenticity, simplicity, and cherished memories that have shaped her. The 23-year-old actress, known for her roles in Marathi and Hindi films, looks forward to embracing the essence of this serene hill town as she welcomes the upcoming year.
