Sharing a poster from the movie featuring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa expressed her nostalgia, saying it feels like the film was released just yesterday. Directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, “Kishen Kanhaiya” tells the story of twins separated at birth, leading to a dramatic reunion in adulthood.
The film, written by Ravi Kapoor, Mohan Kaul, and Kader Khan, revolves around the lives of the twins, Kanhaiya and Kishen, raised in contrasting circumstances. As they discover each other’s existence, the narrative unfolds with conflicts and revelations. Notable contributions to the film include cinematography by Pushpal Dutta, editing by Sanjay Verma, and music by Rajesh Roshan.
