Actress Tanishaa Mukerji has begun the new year by delving into ancient wisdom at the Karla Caves. Sharing snapshots from her enlightening visit on social media, she expressed, “Starting the new year connecting with ancient knowledge at #KarlaCaves.” These caves, situated near Lonavala in Maharashtra, date back to the 2nd century BCE and are renowned for their historical significance.

Notably, the Great Chaitya hall within the complex stands out as one of India’s earliest and finest rock-cut prayer halls, featuring a vaulted roof, stone pillars, and a central stupa. The actress had previously shared moments of enjoying ‘Kulhad wali chai’ in Indore amid chilly weather.
Apart from her explorations, Tanishaa Mukerji, daughter of veteran actress Tanuja and sister of Bollywood star Kajol, actively engages in various festivals. She is involved in the organization committee of the North Bombay Durga Pooja Pandal, where she recently oversaw the festival’s management.
