Actress Aneet Padda’s sister, Reet Padda, is under fire for labeling the film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ as propaganda. Reet expressed her views on social media, calling out the movie and ‘The Kashmir Files’ as propaganda films. She highlighted the use of political speeches in ‘Dhurandhar’ to support events like demonetization.

Amid mounting criticism, Reet has removed her Instagram and LinkedIn accounts. She emphasized that such films shape public narratives and criticized the portrayal of exaggerated numbers in them. Reet pointed out the narrative manipulation in these movies and the lack of diverse perspectives being presented.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has become a major success at the box office. The film has garnered significant praise and attention for its storytelling and performances. Industry stalwarts like Ayushmann Khurrana and Anupam Kher have lauded its impact, while critics have noted its visual grandeur. The movie’s cultural impact has made it a significant player in contemporary Bollywood cinema, sparking discussions and debates.
