Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani announced plans to increase the Group’s assets by Rs 2 lakh crore this year, emphasizing the rapid growth seen across its businesses. Speaking to 4 lakh Adani Group employees on International Labour Day, Adani highlighted the Group’s significant progress, aiming to contribute to India’s development goal by 2047 as outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Adani cited successful projects like Mundra and the recently completed Ganga Expressway, noting their transformative impact on India’s infrastructure. He emphasized the Group’s commitment to shaping the nation’s future through initiatives like the Vizhinjam Port in Kerala and the green energy project in Khavda, Kutch. Adani also praised the Navi Mumbai International Airport for enhancing India’s aviation capabilities and connectivity.
Additionally, Adani underscored the importance of the 594-km greenfield Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated by the Prime Minister, which will significantly reduce travel time for millions of people. He mentioned the ambitious Dharavi slum redevelopment project in Mumbai as a crucial endeavor in human transformation. Adani expressed pride in these projects, considering them vital contributions to nation-building efforts.
