Actor-director-writer Adivi Sesh, gearing up for his film ‘Dacoit’, revealed his battle with anxiety. Despite his successful career, he faces fear before morning shoots. Sesh shared his pre-shoot rituals, including aromatherapy and ice on his eyes.
He admitted, “I’ve major anxiety issues, so I get very scared before the shoot begins in the morning.” Sesh prepares emotionally the night before to match the scene’s mood. He isolates himself if it’s an angry scene to be emotionally vulnerable.
A strong advocate of Telugu cinema, Sesh highlighted its emotional depth due to individual producers. Unlike other industries, Telugu films are not dominated by corporates. He praised the emotional ownership in Telugu cinema, where films are backed by personal investments.
‘Dacoit’, produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, is scheduled for release on April 10, 2026.
