International hockey players Navneet Kaur and Hardik Singh were recognized as Players of the Year at the Hockey India 8th Annual Awards in New Delhi. Zafar Iqbal, a former India captain and Olympic gold medalist, received the Major Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries including Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Raksha Khadse from the Government of India, along with renowned Olympians and award presenters. Navneet Kaur and Hardik Singh were also presented with the prestigious Hockey India Balbir Singh Sr. Award for Player of the Year 2025.
In addition to individual awards, team achievements were celebrated, with Member Units and winning teams from various championships being honored. The ceremony highlighted the contributions of emerging talents, officials, and individuals achieving significant milestones in international hockey.
