Actor-director-writer Adivi Sesh, gearing up for the release of his film ‘Dacoit’, expressed a unique perspective on intrusive thoughts. During the film’s promotions, he emphasized that what society labels as intrusive thoughts are, in fact, genuine responses of the mind. These thoughts, often considered unwanted and distressing, are seen as natural by Sesh.
Sesh, reflecting on the challenges faced by artists in the world, highlighted the importance of maintaining childlike innocence and curiosity. He noted that individuals often shield themselves from judgment by concealing their authentic thoughts, which are mistakenly viewed as intrusive. The actor commended those who openly express their true thoughts, acknowledging his own limitations in doing so.
In a discussion on Telugu cinema, Sesh praised its emotional depth, attributing it to the industry’s unique production landscape. Unlike other Indian film sectors dominated by corporate influence, Telugu cinema thrives on emotional investment from individual producers. Sesh emphasized the personal sacrifices and commitments made by these producers, underscoring the industry’s emotional authenticity.
The film ‘Dacoit’, backed by producer Supriya Yarlagadda, is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 10, 2026.
