All seven individuals aboard an air ambulance that crashed in Jharkhand’s Chatra district have tragically lost their lives. The medical charter flight, traveling from Ranchi to Delhi, went down in Kasaria Panchayat, Chatra District, with two crew members among the passengers. The victims have been identified as Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat, Captain Savrajdeep Singh, Dr. Vikas Kumar Gupta, Sachin Kumar Mishra, Sanjay Kumar, Archana Devi, and Dhuru Kumar.

Relatives of one victim, Sanjay from Chandwa in Latehar district, shared that he sustained severe burn injuries and was being transferred to Delhi for advanced treatment. Sanjay’s wife and cousin were accompanying him on the flight and unfortunately perished in the crash. Sanjay’s elder brother, Vijay, explained the urgent need for the air ambulance due to his deteriorating condition.

Dr. Vikas Kumar Gupta, another passenger on the ill-fated aircraft, was mourned by his uncle, Bajrangi Prasad, who highlighted Dr. Gupta’s dedication to his medical profession. Eyewitnesses recounted hearing a loud explosion during the crash, prompting an immediate response to the site. The flight, which departed Ranchi at 7:07 p.m., lost contact with Kolkata Air Traffic Control around 7:34 p.m., leading to the tragic outcome.
