Indian low-cost airline Akasa Air announced that starting June 16, 2026, it will operate daily direct flights connecting Noida International Airport with Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai. Bookings are now open on the airline’s website, app, and various OTAs. Noida International Airport, one of India’s newest greenfield airports, is expected to ease congestion in the Delhi NCR airspace and boost economic growth in western Uttar Pradesh and the broader NCR region.
Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, highlighted the importance of creating capacity at the right infrastructure nodes for sustaining growth in India’s expanding aviation market. The airport’s modern infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, and long-term capacity potential are set to revolutionize access to the NCR region. Daily direct flights to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai are based on strong demand and connectivity prospects.
Akasa Air plans to enhance its network from Noida International Airport progressively, with a focus on expanding both domestic and international connectivity. Additionally, the airline will operate a cutting-edge MRO facility within the airport premises, offering advanced MRO services to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards. The Bengaluru–Noida and Navi Mumbai–Noida flights are scheduled to commence at specific times daily, catering to passenger convenience.
