Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, known for performing his stunts, got injured while filming a high-octane sequence for his upcoming horror comedy Bhooth Bangla. In a behind-the-scenes video shared by the makers, Akshay was seen executing a jump kick mid-air but lost balance upon landing, resulting in an injury. Despite the mishap, Akshay has expressed his preference for real stunts over VFX and AI, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in action scenes.
The movie Bhooth Bangla, also starring Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, and Wamiqa Gabbi, was initially set for an April 10 release but has been rescheduled to April 16. Co-producer Ektaa Kapoor announced the new release date on Instagram, attributing the change to the success of another film, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge,’ starring Ranveer Singh. The decision to shift the release date was made after discussions with distributors and exhibitors to ensure both films receive adequate attention and space in theaters.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is set to hit cinemas on April 16, promising an action-packed and thrilling experience for audiences.
