Music composer Amaal Mallik recently criticized fellow composer Tanishk Bagchi for allegedly plagiarizing songs and engaging in unethical behavior. Mallik accused Bagchi of copying the title track of ‘Saiyaara’ from original composers Faheem Abdullah & Arsalan Nizami. He also hinted at sexual harassment allegations and claimed that Bagchi pressured him to leave certain projects for financial reasons. Mallik further accused Bagchi of lacking gratitude towards Yash Raj Films for his success.
Mallik claimed that Bagchi’s compositions are not original and are often copied from Pakistani songs or other sources. He accused Bagchi of maintaining a dual personality in the industry and criticized him for targeting YRF due to Bhushan Kumar’s influence. Mallik urged Bagchi to confront Kumar directly if he truly believes he is owed money. He warned Bagchi against releasing remakes of songs and asserted his dominance in the industry.
