Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried, known for her role in the Mamma Mia movies, expressed her willingness to join a potential third installment of the popular franchise. The first Mamma Mia film, released in 2008, featured a star-studded cast including Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan. The storyline revolves around a bride-to-be named Sophie who seeks to uncover her real father among three men.

Seyfried hinted at the likelihood of a third Mamma Mia movie, stating her belief that it will come to fruition. The actress, who recently starred in Octet, a musical film, shared that her co-stars in the movie have proposed creative ideas for the potential project. Suggestions included incorporating ribbon dancing reminiscent of childhood activities.

Having enjoyed success with “The Housemaid” in 2025, Seyfried commended her co-star Sydney Sweeney for gracefully handling the challenges of fame. Reflecting on her own experiences and friendships in the industry, Seyfried emphasized the difficulties of sudden fame, particularly citing Lindsay Lohan’s experiences.
