Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed optimism during the ‘Uttar Pradesh Diwas’ celebrations, foreseeing Uttar Pradesh as a fully developed state by India’s 100th Independence Day in 2047. He praised the state’s role in shaping a ‘Viksit Bharat’ under PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership.
Shah emphasized Uttar Pradesh’s significance, stating it will be a vital part of the nation’s growth engine by 2047. He highlighted the state’s transformation from a labor-supplying region to an economic powerhouse, crediting the BJP government for this shift.
The Home Minister commended initiatives like ‘One District, One Product’ and ‘One District, One Cuisine’ for boosting employment and showcasing the state’s cultural heritage. Shah also acknowledged individuals receiving the UP Gaurav Samman 2026 awards for their contributions to various fields.
Shah concluded by affirming the BJP’s commitment to Uttar Pradesh’s progress, citing achievements in infrastructure, governance, and anti-corruption measures. He urged support for the BJP in the upcoming elections and congratulated the people of Uttar Pradesh on their foundation day.
