With the Kerala polls approaching, Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a lively roadshow in the Beypore Assembly constituency, showcasing the BJP-led NDA’s strong push to expand its presence in the state. The roadshow, from Mathottam Bijith Junction to Naduvattom, turned the coastal area into a bustling political arena as BJP supporters flooded the route.
Supporters, waving BJP flags and banners, eagerly awaited Shah’s arrival, creating a vibrant atmosphere along the roadside. Shah, aboard a flower-adorned open-top vehicle, greeted the enthusiastic crowd, accompanied by drumbeats and cheers. The Union Home Minister’s presence energized the procession, with party members joining in the enthusiastic display.
Advocate K.P. Prakash Babu, the NDA candidate from Beypore, accompanied Shah during the roadshow. The constituency is witnessing a three-way contest, with Babu competing against P.A. Mohamed Riyas of the LDF and P.V. Anvar, an Independent candidate supported by the UDF. Shah, expressing confidence in the NDA’s electoral prospects in Kerala, highlighted the alliance’s commitment to transparent governance and development on social media.
Shah’s campaign tour in Kerala includes public meetings in Kunnathunad and Kattakkada, along with engagements with the Pravasi community in Thiruvananthapuram. The Union Minister will continue his electoral drive with a roadshow in Haripad before heading back to New Delhi, as the NDA intensifies its efforts to make inroads in the state.
