Jaipur, Aug 15 (IANS) Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Rajasthan on Saturday on a two-day visit. During this, he will release Rs 667.40 crore, the sixth instalment of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to 66.74 lakh beneficiary farmers across the state.

Additionally, Rs 152 crore will be transferred through DBT under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Shah will also distribute appointment letters to 10,548 newly recruited personnel at the state-level Mukhyamantri Rozgar Utsav.

According to the scheduled programme, Shah will arrive at Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok, Udaipur, around 9 p.m. on Saturday and stay overnight in Udaipur. On Sunday morning, he will travel to Nimbahera in Chittorgarh, where he will unveil a grand statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at a circle.

He will also dedicate 944 development projects worth Rs 5,659 crore across 15 districts. The projects include the foundation stone-laying of 442 projects and the inauguration of 502 completed projects in Nimbahera.

After the programme, Shah is scheduled to return to Udaipur by helicopter in the afternoon before travelling to Jaipur by special flight.

In view of Shah’s visit, security arrangements have been strengthened in Udaipur. District Collector and District Magistrate Gaurav Agarwal has issued orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.

The areas around Dabok Airport, the Udaipur Circuit House and the Uday Kiran Officers’ Rest House at Sukhadia Circle have been declared no-fly zones. The order prohibits the operation of drones, UAVs and hot-air balloons in these areas from 5 p.m. on August 15 to 2 p.m. on August 16.

Shah will also visit Alwar, where he will address a public meeting at Vijay Nagar Ground. Alwar city has also been declared a No-Drone Zone. SP Sudhir Chaudhary said the ban on drone flights will remain in force from midnight on August 14 until 12 noon on August 17.

He is scheduled to dedicate development projects worth Rs 6,453 crore covering 17 districts. The programme includes the foundation stone-laying of 387 projects and the inauguration of 567 completed projects.

During the state-level Mukhyamantri Rozgar Utsav, Shah will distribute appointment letters to 10,548 newly recruited personnel. He will also release the Rs 667.40 crore sixth instalment of the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi to 66.74 lakh farmers through DBT.

In addition, the foundation stone for Saras Dairy’s Rs 200 crore plant will be laid, while a medical college will also be inaugurated.
