Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu revealed plans to establish an Electronics City near Hindupur and a Creative City in Amaravati to support content creators and creative industries. He emphasized the development of Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati regions under the Economic Region Development initiative during a district Collectors’ conference. The Chief Minister highlighted the transformation of Orvakal in Kurnool district into an industrial hub and proposed similar development for Kopparthi in Kadapa district.

The government aims to attract investments and promote industries for wealth creation, urging Collectors to proactively engage with potential investors. District-wise rankings based on business efficiency will be introduced to incentivize investment promotion. Chief Minister Naidu stressed the importance of leveraging local strengths and opportunities for district development, focusing on job creation and income growth metrics.

He directed Collectors to prioritize infrastructure projects like ports, airports, and railways while emphasizing the potential of the hospitality sector in Andhra Pradesh. The state plans to establish 50,000 hotel rooms and expand homestays to boost tourism. With a focus on domestic tourism growth, the Chief Minister highlighted the historical and cultural richness of Andhra Pradesh, advocating for the preservation and enhancement of heritage sites and monuments.
