Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed the need for his state to adopt the successful strategies of the BJP in Gujarat. Addressing NDA legislators, Naidu emphasized the importance of replicating the achievements seen in Gujarat by the BJP, which has maintained power in the state for over three decades without losing an election since 1995.
At a meeting attended by MLAs and MLCs from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP, Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan advised unity among the alliance members and meaningful discussions in the legislature. Naidu highlighted the strengthened position of the NDA after the 2024 Assembly elections and stressed the necessity of enhancing grassroots unity among the partners.
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan called for the coalition to remain in power for another 15 years to drive the state’s development forward. He urged legislators to work together to counter any challenges posed by the opposition. Naidu encouraged NDA legislators to focus on public trust by showcasing the benefits of the coalition government’s development and welfare initiatives.
The Chief Minister outlined ongoing infrastructure projects in the state, including highways and railway developments, worth over Rs 1 lakh crore and Rs 90,000 crore, respectively. He also mentioned the support from the Centre for projects like the development of the state capital, Amaravati, and the Polavaram project. Naidu emphasized the importance of active participation in the Assembly sessions and assured his own regular attendance during the legislative proceedings.
