Governor Abdul Nazeer explained that Muharram honors the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, emphasizing the values of reflection and spiritual devotion.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed that Muharram motivates individuals to uphold truth despite challenges. He praised the sacrifice of Imam Hussain, emphasizing the pursuit of truth and justice over personal safety. Former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also extended his wishes, encouraging the Muslim community to embrace love, compassion, and brotherhood in remembrance of Hazrat Imam Hussain’s sacrifice.
Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla conveyed his best wishes on Muharram, urging everyone to uphold justice, truth, compassion, and harmony. Additionally, Telangana minister Ponnam Prabhakar emphasized that Muharram symbolizes sacrifice and patience, commemorating Hazrat Imam Hussain’s noble actions. Director General of Police C. V. Anand highlighted the enduring values of sacrifice, courage, compassion, and justice associated with Muharram, promoting peace, unity, and harmony among all communities.
