The 7th IDCA Women T-10 National Cricket Championship for Deaf 2026 concluded with Andhra Pradesh Women’s Team emerging as champions and Delhi Women’s Team as runners-up. In the final match, Andhra Pradesh batted first, scoring 73/4 in 10 overs, while Delhi fell short by five runs, finishing at 68/4 in 10 overs.
Former Indian cricketer Gursharan Singh presented the Championship trophy at the closing ceremony. The event also saw the presence of dignitaries like Santosh Kumar Rai, Ompal, Dev Dutt, Susheel Gupta, and Chander Prakash Kirodiwal.
Sumit Jain, President of IDCA, praised the talent and sportsmanship displayed during the Championship. He thanked the Chief Guest, Gursharan Singh, and Dhiraj Kumar, President of HDCA, for their support in promoting cricket, especially among women players.
The Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA), with support from BCCI, organized the championship, recognized by the Deaf International Cricket Council and Asian Deaf Cricket Association. D. Kanthamma from Andhra Pradesh stood out in the tournament, winning multiple awards, including Woman of the Match and Player of the Series. Priya Dixit from Uttar Pradesh was named the Best Bowler of the Series.
