Despite parting ways, they maintained a cordial relationship over the years. Rajesh Khanna, born Jatin Khanna on December 29, 1942, was raised by his relatives in Mumbai after being adopted. His exceptional work later earned him the title of Hindi cinema’s first superstar.
Rajesh Khanna, known for his blockbuster hits like ‘Aradhana’ and ‘Anand,’ passed away on July 18, 2012, at the age of 69 after battling health issues. He was posthumously honored with the Padma Bhushan in 2013, India’s third-highest civilian award. Rajesh Khanna is survived by his daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna.
